The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is an official day of service and celebrates the civil rights leader’s life and legacy.
Observed each year on the third Monday in January, MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.
Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan and AmeriCorps Senior Volunteer Programs invite you to participate by sending a letter of thanks!
The Oxford school shooting was an atrocity and we want to show our appreciation to our front-line workers for all of their hard work.
Here’s how you can help –
-Thank you for serving when you’re needed the most.
-All the good people of Michigan stand with the Oxford community.
-Our thoughts and prayers are with you for all that you do.
-Thank you for helping in difficult situations.
-We appreciate what you did to help the community of Oxford
