Rate of Pay: $15-$17/hour
Availability: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Days/Hours Worked: Days and Hours Worked will Vary - Typical Hours will be Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Education Requirements: High school diploma/GED required.
Experience Requirements: This position requires the applicant to be bilingual in English and Spanish.

We are seeking an individual to work as a Kitchen & Food Pantry Associate in our All-Saint Soup Kitchen & Food Pantry in Detroit. The Kitchen & Food Pantry Associate will be involved in the operations, assisting with food bank purchases and donated food, unloading and stocking of the food pantry. The individual will maintain health and safety requirements in the food preparation. The individual will also be involved in the coordination of volunteers. The best candidate will be a person who establishes relationships with clients, churches, community service providers and volunteer groups. The individual needs to have a sense of compassion to help our clients in need. The candidate must be highly organized and competent with technology (Microsoft Windows, word and excel) A successful candidate should be able to coordinate, train and supervise volunteers to run an efficient Soup Kitchen.
