The Detroit Walking with Moms in Need ongoing “Works of Mercy” in Southeast Michigan is a joint venture partnership between the Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) and the Archdiocese of Detroit (AOD), driven by the nationwide United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ initiative. As the charitable arm for the corporal works of mercy throughout the AOD, CCSEM is honored and excited to help develop this initiative for years to come!

Our goal is to raise awareness in each parish about resources that assist pregnant and parenting moms in need, so that moms and their babies are welcomed and supported in each Family of Parishes, where the dignity of every human life is upheld and valued. With this goal,, we aim to increase the network of accompaniment and support.
