NEW! Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan St. Clair County Fund
This fund will support special programs, projects, and operations and also provide donors with an opportunity to invest in the long-term growth and success of Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan specifically in St. Clair County.
We provide confidential support at state-licensed facilities through a variety of specialized services. Our counseling programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Our therapists are licensed and registered psychotherapy practitioners in the state of Michigan. Our master’s level therapists and clinicians are under the supervision of a board-certified psychiatrist and clinical psychologist. Our experts include certified play therapists for children, substance abuse therapists, and domestic violence specialists. Our counseling programs include individual and group therapy options at flexible appointment times.

Our therapists respond to each person or family with a tailored approach based on their particular need to help address and resolve the issues that hinder or disrupt their lives at home, school, and work. The strengths of that person or family are leveraged in their therapy program to promote growth, insight, and autonomy. Professional counseling can help individuals change ideas, behaviors, or relationships that are painful, hurtful, or destructive and help to promote positive mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
Our outpatient treatment services are offered in a comfortable, relaxing environment where counseling is customized to your specific need. We serve individuals from the age of 3 to seniors and their families. Our broad range of services includes:
We accept insurance from many providers such as Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, HAP, Cofinity, Humana, Blue Care Network, Cigna, and various private insurance, too. We also accept Medicaid health plans including Molina, Great Lakes, Total Health Care, Meridian, and Blue Cross Complete. Additionally, for those who are eligible, we offer fees on a sliding scale based on the ability to pay.
Additionally, we offer an Intensive Outpatient Service (IOP) in Port Huron, Michigan at the Huron House, available by referral only.
Our programs are funded by the United Way, the Oakland County Office of Substance Abuse, SEMCA in Monroe County, and the Thumb Alliance in St. Clair County, state and federal contracts, client fees, insurance reimbursement, and individual donations.
