Ten Years. Six Counties. One Mission of Mercy.
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, parishes, schools, ministries, groups, fraternities, and teams across the six counties of the Archdiocese of Detroit — Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, St. Clair, and Lapeer — will unite for the 10th Annual Mercy in Action Day of Service. Host a project, join one already planned, volunteer, or donate — there’s a place for everyone.
Register by September 28, 2026 to receive special resources — including a prayer service for your Service Day and potential coverage by Detroit Catholic and the CCSEM Social Media team.

About Mercy in Action
For ten years, the people of Southeast Michigan have come together to put God’s Mercy into action. Together, we live out the Corporal Works of Mercy: feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, clothing those in need, and comforting the sick. Whether you’ve joined every year or this is your first, Southeast Michigan is hungry for an experience of God’s Mercy like never before. Are you in?
