Mar 27, 2022
The Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan Refugee Resettlement Program and five additional Refugee Resettlement agencies were featured in a report compiled by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO).   The report highlighted the difference our agencies and other agencies made over the past six months to share in the successful relocation of approximately 1,700 Afghan nationals who are now resettling in Michigan.   "This has been an unprecedented time and we are so proud of the partnerships with state agencies, non-profit service providers, Team Rubicon, county health departments, law firms, individual volunteers, and everyone who has been instrumental in this endeavor," said Karen Phillippi, the Director of New American Integration from the Office of Global Michigan.
